Biography
Meghan Golovinova grew up in Riverside, California, surrounded by orange groves. She earned a B.A. in English & Creative Writing and an M.F.A. in Poetry & Literature from California State University, San Bernardino.
Meghan has studied and taught English, history, yoga, swimming and pilates, and later went on to study the craft of acting under Sanford Meisner’s teaching protege Jim Jarrett and Melissa Thompson Esaia at the Meisner Technique Studio in San Francisco.
Her first book, The Lemon Tree, published in 2018, celebrates her upbringing in Southern California and looks deeply into religion, marriage, romantic relationships, and friendships, and faces both barrenness and abundance, darkness and light, winter and summer, trauma and love.
Meghan has been a group member with LA Comedy Connection in Burbank. She currently acts and writes in films she directs, produces and acts in from her home in Los Angeles, California.
